One of the fun parts about plein air painting is that it takes you into places you would never go if it weren't your job! I often drive around town carefully looking for a new angle. I might look a little suspicious at first, but I almost always make good friends by the time my painting starts to shape up. People enjoy watching their neighborhood come to life on a canvas.
