Artist's Description

I will admit to being a little dismayed when it started raining shortly after I got my easel set up in downtown Raleigh. Since acrylics would never dry in this weather, I switched quickly to oils. Little by little, the magic began to appear on the canvas. I think this painting hung in a gallery for less than a week before it was snatched up.
