Description
A number of us drove up from Raleigh to paint in and around Columbia, North Carolina. We had a delightful weekend with the people of Columbia and the Pocosin Art Center. The morning that I stepped out to paint the main street was rainy. I had two choices: go indoors until the rain quit, or celebrate the thick atmosphere of this delightful coastal town. Happily, I chose the latter and this painting emerged.
